Vineyard Notes
The fruit for this wine came from one of our growers in central Virginia who
consistently produces excellent quality fruit and this vintage is one of the finest we
have seen. Upon harvesting the vineyard, the winemakers realized that there was
something special with this year’s Petit Verdot.
Production Notes
The fermentation commenced beautifully with fantastic flavors, aromas, and intense color being extracted from the skins. As the wine aged in barrel, it softened and picked up added complexity from the oak.
