Chateau Morrisette CiderworksChateau Morrisette CIDERWORKS is proud to release its new ciders from 2017.  Made with 100% Virginia apples, these ciders are available in 16oz cans and can be purchased in our Tasting Room or Restaurant.  Sorry, not available online at this time.  We only made a limited amount of cider this year, so it will sell out.  Be sure to purchase early!

Join us for our Cider Release Weekend, March 2 and 3.  Cider tastings are complimentary in the Tasting Room throughout the day.  Tastings are not available in the Restaurant.  And if you join us on Sunday, there is a free concert upstairs above the winery by Nostalgic But Cool 1-4p, with limited seating.  Tasting includes:

Barrel Aged - 6% ABV

The blend comprising this cider was fermented and aged in a combination of neutral French and American oak barrels. A separate fermentation took place in in stainless steel tanks and a portion of this was blended back to increase the apple character.  The lightly carbonated, off-dry Barrel Aged cider has beautiful apple aroma and a hint of oak on the palate.

Cherry Ginger - 4.8% ABV

The apple cider was fermented in stainless steel tanks, then blended with a portion of our freshly fermented Cherry Wine. Next, we added just enough ginger juice to get the flavor of ginger without the heat. The final product is full of apple and cherry fruitiness with a touch of ginger on the nose and palate. 

Chai Spiced - 6.3% ABV

Our Chai Spiced cider is flavored using all real spices you can find in your kitchen cabinet. We meticulously formulated our own unique blend of ginger, vanilla, green cardamom, cinnamon, clove, and peppercorn until it was just right. The spice blend was then integrated into the base cider to create this interesting take on a spiced cider.
