Proprietary blend of Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot.
The five varieties presented together in this wine were fermented separately as individual components. This allowed each variety to be harvested when it had reached its optimal maturity in the vineyard. These individual varieties each had unique characteristics that were meticulously blended to craft this fruit forward, balanced, and delicious red wine. This smooth, lightly oaked blend of Chambourcin, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot is a definite crowd pleaser. Notes of cherry preserves and fresh strawberries on the nose are intertwined with flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and cranberry. Pleasingly soft tannins bring structure to these flavors as they carry through to an exquisite finish. Five Red Grapes is ready to drink now, but will continue to develop and improve over the next 3+ years. Serving temperature: 60-65°F
