Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of Cabernet
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
3 cups of fresh strawberries rough chopped
1 shallot - fine dice
2 Tbsp fresh basil - fine chiffonade
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
1/2 cup of honey (slightly warm)
1 1/2 cups of olive oil
Method
Crush strawberries in wine, vinegar, salt and pepper. Add other ingredients and finish by slowly whisking in olive oil.
